This course is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to safely work at heights in various industries and teaches participants to identify potential risks, use equipment correctly, and implement control measures. It also emphasises preparing and following work instructions, inspecting and maintaining safety equipment, and responding effectively to emergencies.

- Individuals seeking to enhance their employability by obtaining a nationally recognised competency.
- Those with no prior qualifications, as there are no formal entry requirements for these units.
Learning Outcomes
By completing this course, participants will:
- Identify work requirements: Understand the legislative and organisational requirements for working safely at heights, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Select and inspect equipment: Learn to identify and inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses and lanyards, ensuring compliance with WHS standards.
- Perform work safely: Gain skills to set up, access, and operate safety systems while working at heights, ensuring personal and team safety.
- Manage risks and emergencies: Understand how to mitigate risks associated with working at heights and respond effectively to emergency scenarios.
- Complete documentation: Accurately complete work and safety documentation following organisational requirements.
